Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the machinery manufacturing industry, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, your role will involve managing customer accounts, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records. This role offers potential perm employment after a contract period.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and update records

• Use software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks

• Conduct regular check runs and ensure all transactions are documented

• Code invoices accurately and ensure they match purchase orders

• Perform data entry tasks to update customer and transaction records

• Handle account reconciliation tasks to prevent discrepancies

• Address customer inquiries regarding invoice processing and other accounting issues.

Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Machinery Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and processes

• Experience with Account Reconciliation

• Ability to conduct Check Runs efficiently

• Skilled in Coding Invoices accurately

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks

• Experience using Oracle for financial management

• Familiarity with QuickBooks for accounting purposes

• Experience with SAP for business process management

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Possess a proactive approach and the ability to work independently

• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
