Zebra Professional Services team has a great new opportunity for Systems Integration Engineer to join our diverse international team. This role will involve potential travel to customer sites across Europe with the option to work from home or our UK offices.

In this exciting role with Zebra Professional Services, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects with our largest customers across the EMEA region!

This is UK based role for 6 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes requirements and designs for systems, applications or process design and integration projects.

  • Completes all phases of systems integration design projects.

  • Delivers and implements our solution and services within the project scope and deliverables.

  • Supports identifying and raising Change requests.

  • Analyzes best approach to solving systems, applications, or process design problems (innovation vs. re-use) including best fit solution to customer requirements.

  • Documents and presents to clients on technical solutions/designs.

  • Takes part in presentations to influence customers and market in pre-tender phase.

  • Defines integration strategies and methods and plans them in accordance with established deadlines and time schedules.

  • Creates and provides technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of engineering experience

  • Basic software development and networking knowledge

  • Knowledge of RFID and Android technologies

  • Field engineering experience from client facing role

  • Excellent communications skills

  • Ability to work on complex projects with minimal supervision

  • Ability to travel across UK and work night shifts

    Advantages:

  • Experience with Java and/or C#

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems

  • High level written skills, this is required for producing the technical documentation for our integration work

  • Complex and versatile programming knowledge for different languages and hardware uses
