"A Registered Nurse Case Manager for our Acute Care Behavioral Health/Substance Use Disorder Services is an exciting opportunity to address human needs in the community and use your therapeutic nursing skills to support those struggling with substance use and mental illnesses. You will play an important role, providing nursing services together with an interdisciplinary team of Acute Care Services, the RN Case Manager supports clients with Medically Assisted Therapies (MAT) and behavioral health interventions to engage positively in their communities.. As our RN Case Manager for Acute Care Services (ACS), you will work in the Medically Assisted Therapy (MAT) Outpatient team. You will support complex care for patients in our locations and services that are part of the ACS programs including (but not limited to) Warner House (TRT), Withdrawal Management and various clinics throughout MHP, providing MAT services.

Job Profile:

  • Are you passionate about behavioral health nursing; supporting individuals, vulnerable populations, as they enter recovery programs, address substance use issues, and re-engage as vital participants in community?

  • Do you have experience with Medication Management, administration including medication monitoring, medication training?

What we need for this job:

  • Unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or the ability to be licensed in Colorado at time of hire

  • One year nursing experience as

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) -OR-

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with community mental health experience

  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate at time of hire

  • Experience working with adults dealing with Substance Use Disorder, Probation Services, or Mental Health needs

  • Relevant Mental Health, Substance Use Treatment, Detox, Community Nursing experience

  • Mental Health, Community Nursing, Medical/Surgical or Critical Care experience

  • Experience working with community behavioral health services; or are motivated to learn

  • Experience managing complex client situations, health concerns, and nuances

  • Basic knowledge of recovery-focused nursing services related to the safe and appropriate administration of behavioral health treatment in a Community Mental Health Setting
