Purpose:

As our Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) on the Boulder Adult Behavior Health Home Team you will work with a collaborative interdisciplinary medical and mental health team to provide whole person care.

Job Summary:

You will be the lead therapist on the integrated team and serve as an expert consultant to the medical team. You will report to the Program Supervisor.

Job Profile:

  • Are you experienced to conduct initial comprehensive assessments of new clients, and assist the team in conducting updated assessments?

  • Have you provided brief, episodic psychotherapy, addressing mental health issues and physical health complaints?

  • Are you looking to manage a small caseload of high need clients needing both psychotherapy and complex case management?

  • Do you want to be a consultant to the medical team and provide mental health assessments, psychotherapeutic and wellness interventions?

What We Need for this Role:

  • Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, plus 1+ year internship, and one (1) or more years experience in a clinical setting

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Preferred, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or full licensed acquired within twelve (12) months.

  • Experience providing clinical assessments and brief intervention

  • Mastery of evidence-based psychotherapy models and practice

  • Experience working in an integrated health environment
