Mental Health Partners Behavioral Health Assessment Specialist | Licensed or Licensed Eligible in Boulder, United States

As our Behavioral Health Assessment Specialist you will provide assessments for our Behavioral Health Home (BHH) and Criminal Justice team for clients transitioning back into the community. You will work on a multidisciplinary team and liaise with community partners in order to streamline access to services in MHP.

Job Summary:

You will conduct assessments and serve as an expert to our team. You will report to the Program Manager.

Profile:

  • Are you experienced to conduct initial comprehensive assessments of clients?

  • Do you thrive in working with clients in the criminal justice system with moderate to high mental health and substance abuse service needs?

  • Have you provided brief, episodic psychotherapy, addressing mental health issues and substance use disorders (SUD)?

  • Do you have experience providing training to staff and community partners?

  • Do you want to be a consultant to therapists and conduct mental health assessments, psychotherapeutic and wellness interventions?

What we need for this job:

  • Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, plus 1+ year internship, and one (1) or more years experience in a clinical setting

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or full licensed acquired within twenty four (24) months.

  • Experience with adult mental health and substance use population
