Telecom Dispatch Specialist Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $17.85 - $23.58 an hour - Half Time, Days. 24 hours a week.
+$2.00/hr for evening and weekend shifts.
Boulder Community health is seeking a Telecom Dispatch Specialist, a p osition where an employee has demonstrated, through documentation and observation, complete proficiency in all Com Center duties listed, including those duties that are carried out within the Com Center of Boulder Community Hospital.

Qualifications •High school diploma or equivalent preferred. •At least 1 year of experience in a role where quick thinking, communication skills, and stressful situations have been dealt with on a fairly regular basis preferred. •Previous secretarial professional office experience preferred. •Able to remain calm in times of crisis •Able to multi task and prioritize with the customer service skills •Be a good listener with problem solving skills •able to deescalate when needed for upset callers
Responsibilities •Complete duties as assigned by the Com Center Supervisor or other Facilities Department Management. •Assume leadership role in cases of emergencies as directed by the Com Center Supervisor, other Management or when no one is available. •Routinely communicate daily Com Center requests and activities with the Com Center Supervisor and other Com Center employees. •Primary telephone support for all Com Center calls at 7411 and PBX operator calls when necessary. •Work smoothly between Com Center and PBX operator calls, responding to various demands. •Back-up monitoring of alarms, camera monitors, and other Security technology when other staff is unavailable. •Back-up support for hospital wide pages. •Assist the Com Center Supervisor, or other Facility Department Management when necessary, regarding work order priorities and dispatching. •Secretarial support of all Facilities Management staff. •Utilize and become proficient with Facility Management/Hospital computer software programs.
