With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
The Chrome OS Firmware team works on the low-level embedded software, new device bring-ups, and open-source technologies. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll collaborate with a strong group of kernel, firmware, and hardware engineers to define and implement features, improvements, and processes to deliver high-quality devices to the market. You'll get to develop bootloaders and embedded controller software for a wide range of Chrome OS devices and contribute to open-source coreboot and Zephyr OS projects. Throughout, you'll also be looking for ways to improve scalability and maintainability of our codebase and enhance collaboration with external ODMs, OEMs, chip/SOC vendors, and global internal teams.

Work with a larger team of engineers and product managers to design and develop firmware features
Participate in board bring-ups and work with partners to deliver new Chrome OS devices
Evaluate and help improve firmware code and processes for scalability and maintainability
Collaborate with a global team of software and hardware engineers on new technology proposals and process improvements
