Job Description
Our energy data client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to fill immediately. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you'll position products, craft compelling messaging, and develop and launch sales enablement resources. You will act as the "voice of the customer," gaining a deep understanding of their needs and desires to address key questions about our products, target customers, and the best ways to reach them.
This cross-functional position requires close collaboration with the Product, Sales, and Operations teams. Your work will involve developing engaging, event-driven content, translating customer needs into inspiring solution stories, discovering new ways to engage our audience, and developing campaign strategies that strengthen customer connections and engagement.
In this role, you will also leverage your thorough understanding of the power market, Yes Energy's products, and analytics to actively contribute to content creation by monitoring market events and collaborating on content for social media posts and blogs.
Position Responsibilities:
Work closely with Product and Sales teams to describe product offerings and develop messaging frameworks and value propositions that resonate with select customer personas.
Develop and evolve segmentation, targeting, and positioning for each solution/offering.
Contribute to GTM strategy to ensure the development of the appropriate mix of content and channels to drive acquisition and onboarding.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of power markets and the products and data to support market participants.
Leverage market expertise, products and analytics to create content for social media posts and blogs by monitoring market events and trends.
Educate both internal and external stakeholders on solution/product features, benefits, and their differentiators (with the Product team).
Translate customer needs into inspiring solution narratives to fuel expansion into new markets and personas and strategies for campaigns that deepen connections and drive opportunities for sales engagement.
Build marketing programs that articulate the value of solutions in the context of customer needs and collaborate on campaign development to drive demand.
Assist with the formulation of ABM campaigns for targeted segments.
Define sales collateral and other sales enablement tools that align with the buying process and help move prospects & customers through the sales cycle.
Use insights and data to inform user narratives and programs that improve the client experience, leading to product awareness, adoption, and growth.
Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of the product.
Successfully work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure proper targeting onboarding for customers.
Leverage data (e.g., dashboards, tactical metrics, organizational KPIs) to understand engagement and product usage across the funnel and identify opportunities to drive engagement/adoption.
Conduct ongoing market analysis to secure an understanding of market demands in the competitive landscape and inform the definition of solution/product differentiators.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of five years experience in the energy industry, with a strong preference for experience in North American power markets.
Experience in SaaS, data analytics, or data science in the energy industry.
Minimum of five years experience in Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, or in an analyst or trader role.
Ability to tell a visual story through the creation of graphics and infographics.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred. null
