The Opportunity: Senior Director EBS Product Marketing
The EBS business unit is seeking a Senior Director to manage our product marketing organization. The Sr. Director of Product Marketing reports to the Senior Vice President of EBS and is responsible for driving the image and positioning of our products in the marketplace. With a strong focus on strategic planning and implementation, cross-functional collaboration and creating sophisticated marketing programs in a complex, ever-changing global market landscape, the successful candidate will make a material difference to revenue within the business unit.
As a senior member of the EBS staff, the Sr. Director will be expected to participate in defining strategy, providing input into key decisions and direction for the business unit. The Sr. Director is expected to work across functional boundaries, both inside and outside of the business unit, and work with relevant peer groups to drive the marketing activities necessary to make our strategy successful.
Key Responsibilities
Drive focus and messaging for our key brands, including Xpedition, PADS Professional, PartQuest and HyperLynx across all market segments.
Drive alignment in strategy across all brands and flows, as well as all tiers of the PCB and IC Packaging ecosystem.
Drive alignment in our outbound messaging, go-to-market strategy and digital marketing activities.
Drive vision and strategy that builds momentum in new and adjacent markets.
Ensure consistent messaging and communication, both inside and outside, the business unit.
Drive comprehensive go-to-market and launch activities for new products.
Evaluate post-sales customer business and maintain programs to ensure continued renewals; look for add-on opportunity.
Review new digital technologies and techniques and keep the organization at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
Monitor conversion rates and maintain effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action, if needed, to guarantee achievement of marketing objectives.
Monitor competitor offerings and marketing activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
Job Qualifications
Degree in Marketing or engineering related field; MBA preferred
10+ years of experience managing geographically disperse teams with proven leadership and hands-on management skills
Must provide demonstrable business orientation and awareness within a large corporation
Able to influence others through fact-based decision making; processes strong communication skills
Must have demonstrated success in effectively managing within a highly dynamic environment as part of a global organization in a fast-paced industry
Proven experience in driving messaging and outbound marketing programs; experience with digital marketing
Ability to engage in a leadership role with customers and the sales organizations to promote the deployment of new technology, products, and systems solutions
Proven track record of delivering projects on time with high quality
Courageous, able and willing to deliver bad news and working action plans to resolve issues
Able to recruit, retain and manage geographically dispersed, global teams
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Understanding of ECAD technology and business models preferred, but not required

The salary range for this position is $212,400 to $382,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
