Medtronic Sales Enablement Specialist - Acute Care Monitoring in Boulder, Colorado

Support the Acute Care and Monitoring Operating Unit US commercial Sales organization in their contract creation of large and complex aggregate deals in the CPQ tool. Additionally facilitate the movement of that deal through the approval process and non-standard contract creation, supporting appropriate commercial field members as needed. This individual will work with different groups to expedite the deal as needed and assist in answering questions or provide clarity as needed to the commercial audience. Additional requests for pricing analytics, training, and general support.

This role reports to the Commercial Programs Director for Acute Care Monitoring. This position can be based anywhere in the continental United States

A Day in the Life

  • Responsible for developing and executing strategies that provide the sales organization with the information, content, expertise, and tools to help salespeople sell more effectively.

  • Create COOPs, NextGen Placements, and Hybrid Agreements in CPQ.

  • Communicate with all relevant groups to keep deal moving through approval process and investigate pain points in the process and help remove barriers. This can then evolve into side projects of process improvement.

  • Interacts and works closely with marketing, offer development, contracting finance and legal to roll out new contracts, processes, promotions, etc.

  • Collaborate with CPQ support and CPQ development teams to investigate system errors, upgrades or fixes. Develop ideas for new enhancements that would improve field (and Contract Admin) experience in the tool.

  • Requires knowledge and proficiencies in buyer behavior and go to market process to create continuous training opportunities through various methods for the commercial audience.

  • Uses sales metrics to identify and quantify effective sales strategies.

  • Continually evaluates and deploys new and improved deployment methods.

  • Minimal to no travel.

Key Stakeholders:

  • Internal teams within Pricing and Contracting: Asset Ops, Offer Development, Contract Development

  • Internal teams within Commercial Operations: CPQ support, Legal, Process Improvement Analysts

  • Marketing & Training organizations

  • Sales Organization: Sales Reps, RBM’s, Sales Leadership, Airway sales team

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have

  • Sales enablement or sales contracting experience

  • Medtronic Acute Care Monitoring experience

  • Analytical and reporting experience

  • Configure Price and Quote (CPQ) experience strongly preferred

  • Communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Flexible and adaptable

  • Experience partnering with commercial sales teams

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by location.
