FIRST RF Quality Engineer in Boulder, Colorado
Description Primary proficiency in electrical and electronics Understand IPC structure and standards Review Engineering drawings and procedures for ECO Review supplier AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports Review supplier AQL (C=0) sampling inspection reports Incoming inspection of materials and ensure traceable documentation Address Supplier Correction Action Request (SCAR) Determine root cause and rive Internal Corrective Action Report (ICAR) Reconcile nonconforming materials and NCRs Lead Material Review Board (MRB), drive closure to nonconformances Review Detailed Process Procedure (DPP), Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) Conduct In-Process Quality Assurance (IPQA) to validate manufacturing builds Create AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) Ensure Final inspection of hardware Prepare for source inspection, interact with customer Ensure build documentation completeness and create CoCs Clear oral & written communication skills Calipers, micrometers, ht. stands, gauges Visual Inspection using microscopes Understand ESD protocols Conduct training of procedural and process changes Archive & scan all applicable records and objective evidence
Support Functions
Conduct internal audits, support AS9100 audits and customer surveys Conduct supplier assessment & audits PFMEA
Assist QA Inspectors and Manager as needed
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and photocopiers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, however these hours will vary based on workload and the managers discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.

10% travel or as needed.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance Technical degree in Electrical or Electronics
Preferred Experience and Skills
BSEE or related Engineering degree 5 years of experience in AS9100 QMS work environment Familiar with PCB, PCBA, Cable & Harness Familiar J-STD-001 certified Strong understanding of IPC-A-600, 610, 620 standards Understand mechanical and dimensional GD&T, CMM experience Other Duties
