Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of technically-oriented product management experience in consumer or enterprise hardware, silicon development, or operating systems.
Experience in business and technical discussions.
5 years of technically-oriented product management experience in consumer or enterprise hardware, silicon development, or operating systems.
Experience working with numerous external partners (manufacturers, suppliers, device brands, silicon vendors) to build hardware products.
Experience executing and landing complex, multi-year projects.
Experience working with large scale engineering organizations.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Chrome OS, the open source, Linux-based, operating system running on Chromebooks, aims to deliver simple, speedy and secure user experiences. Chromebooks first launched in 2011, and are being used as computing devices in schools worldwide. We are looking to leverage this success to bring Chromebooks to consumers and enterprises, globally. You are an experienced product manager (PM) who will own the vision, strategy and execution of Chrome OS platforms. These platforms will provide a foundation for your team to build high-quality Chromebooks and deliver delightful computing experiences to our customers.

Establish a multi-year roadmap with new features, user journeys, and technology collaborations.
Partner with Engineering teams, external device manufacturers, device brands, hardware vendors, and silicon Product Managers to build a new family of Chromebooks that are powerful yet easy-to-use.
Set quarterly and annual goals and priorities for the team to execute against.
Collaborate with Engineering teams and peer platform partners in the US, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia.
Work closely with Hardware and Software Engineering teams, Partner Management, Business Development, and other PMs as well as external device manufacturers, device brands, suppliers and silicon partners.
