Position Summary As the Market Development Leader (MDL), you will report directly to the Senior Director of Sales and the two of you will collaborate to achieve comprehensive market saturation in the Front Range of Colorado. You will spend a great deal of your time in grocery stores studying our market from a firsthand perspective to help develop and execute growth project plans, coordinate incremental DSD sales opportunities, and engage with key stakeholders. This role demands a highly motivated individual with a sales background who lives our values and fosters innovation, change, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities Achieve DSD Objectives: Meet all Key Objectives and Results for Direct Store Delivery. Identify Opportunities: Continuously seek new business opportunities to optimize sales and promotional effectiveness. Coordinate Efforts: Align with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals. Leverage Data: Use data to develop and execute market-winning plans. Manage Inventory: Oversee point-of-sale materials to maintain strategic inventory levels and minimize waste. Conduct Audits: Perform store-level and market area audits to ensure compliance with DSMPs (Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, Pricing), and provide corrective actions when needed. Report Improvements: Track and report on improvement areas. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to achieve sales goals. Market Development: Engage in strategic market development based on company and customer needs as well as growth opportunities. Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications 2-4+ years of experience in a similar market development role. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, and Word. Skilled in data analysis, training material creation, and developing/managing soliciting tools. Knowledge of growth opportunities and DSD structures. Ability to develop effective business strategies with cross-functional alignment. Valid driver's license required. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Willingness to travel in the Front Range of Colorado- up to 75%. Must be located in the Front Range of Colorado. Physical Demands Hearing: Ordinary conversation Speaking: Ordinary speech Driving: DSD bakery route truck/or another Company vehicle Lifting trays (20+ pounds) Frequent walking, standing on concrete floors, and repetitive movements.

Work Environment Use of computer and standard office equipment. Frequent use of various communication methods. Regular sitting, standing, stooping, and hand-motor coordination. Use of various forms of transportation for extended periods. Clean driving record.

Salary and Benefits Base salary: $65,000-$85,000 (depending on experience) Health benefits with company contribution PTO accrual: 10 days per year 401K match up to 4%
