Google Display and Programmatic Product Lead in Boulder, Colorado

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 8 years of business experience

  • Experience in advertising products

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with large data sets and outstanding data analytics, and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of advertising products such as Programmatic, Display, Video, Search, larger digital trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs across various industry segments

  • Ability to develop excellent executive ready communications and operational excellence

  • Solid business acumen, with ability to manage internal customer relationships and translate needs into practical, scalable solutions

  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage project teams and engage with executive stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated scaled problem solving and execution skills

gTech Global Customer Care (gGCC) is a solution-generating force that helps our sales teams and advertisers. These solutions need to be scalable to support millions of customers worldwide. In addition to troubleshooting on the customer side, we work with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams within Google to develop better tools and services and improve our products based on the evolving needs of our users. As a cross-functional and global team, it's our job to help keep the lights on and the ads fresh.

As Display and Programmatic Product Lead, you will play an essential role in the growth of Google’s Display and Programmatic business. You will help determine product positioning with practitioners, give input on developing leads and materials, and deliver on product goals by leveraging practitioner community of specialists and vendors in gCare. You will identify development of new/existing products/product features and tools, and identify gaps in products and build business cases. You will partner with gTech Product and Tools Operations, Global Product Leads, and Go-to-Market teams and more, on the product roadmap, helping to develop the future of Display and Programmatic with practitioner inputs.

Additional Information

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $147,000 + bonus + equity + benefits .

*Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

  • Position our gCare Practice team as the Center of Excellence for the implementation, optimization, and reporting on display and programmatic advertising by having a strong point of view on the future state.

  • Write best practices documentation (e.g. playbooks, how-to guides) that will be used by practitioners and vendors and hosted on Keymaker portals, and create Business Requirement Documents for product/tool changes in the optimization workflow.

  • Engage the practitioner community for feature requests, customer feedback, and recommended process changes for new products and feature update.

  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders and community members, and build relationships with counterparts in gTech Product and Tools Operations, Go-to-Market, Engineering, and Product Management teams.

  • Present strategic insights at leadership forums and collaborate with Global Product Leads to provide feedback that drives innovation.
