Job Summary

The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB) at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a full-time instructor to teach Cell Biology laboratories beginning Spring 2025. The Department has a strong commitment to excellence in both research and undergraduate education and we seek an individual with a proven record of merit in teaching labs at the undergraduate level and/or mentoring undergraduate students in research.

The Cell Biology Laboratory is a CURE (Course-based Undergraduate Research Experience) lab. As such, the labs enable undergraduate students to participate in original research and to present their results at a CURE symposium every semester. Currently the labs are researching gene expression in Tetrahymena thermophila in response to chemical mutagens, but the department will be happy to support other research topics. The University of Colorado Boulder is committed to building a culturally diverse community of faculty, staff, and students dedicated to contributing to an inclusive campus environment. We are an Equal Opportunity employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
