Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Job Description

Work closely with Engineering to conceptualize the development and configuration of new production and solve technical problems. Maintain production readiness of existing production equipment and tooling. Interpret complicated specifications such as blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine the best approach for machining, assembly, and sequence of operations to machine components and/or assemblies. Operate and set up machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, precision surface grinders, drills, presses, and cutoff equipment to accomplish tasks. Use sole discretion to calculate machining dimensions based on finished part requirements. Produce parts to exacting tolerances with precision fits and validate these to the established requirements. Verify dimensional accuracy, alignments, and clearances of finished parts. Support ongoing operation of equipment, dies, fixtures, and tooling by bringing wear items back into tolerance, custom making unavailable parts, and repairing damaged components.

Hard Skills

• 5+ years of tool & die experience

• Experience operating lathes, mills, precision surface grinders, drills, presses, hydraulic presses & cutoff equipment

This is a fully on-site position in Bothell, Washington.
