This Staff Project Engineer will support a cross-functional, multi-site team and should be comfortable working in a highly dynamic customer environment, adept at working with geographically dispersed teams, and thrive in dynamic program environments.

THE WORK

In this role you will:

• Continuously contribute to the creation of PLM design solutions that address complex engineering problems across the full lifecycle.

• Integrate various 3rd party and custom applications into the PLM ecosystem

• Contribute as an IT liaison for all hardware, network and system changes relative to PLM and engineering toolsets

• Coordinate as an liaison for Design Engineering and Manufacturing

• PLM Change coordination with business owners and stakeholders

• Provide technical direction, tipsheets/documentation and sustaining support

• Act as a core member of a multi-disciplinary team that represents all capabilities within DevSecOps, directly supporting software development and integration activities for the end users.

• Work with relevant stakeholders to implement and support 1LMX business transformation initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

-Prior experience supporting some or all lifecycle phases for business-critical applications such as design, development, deployment and sustainment, engineering product lifecycle and/or configuration management principles

• Windchill (PLM) Experience in the areas of Hardware, Configuration Management and Operations

• Experience with integration and/or utilization of PLM systems (processes, architectures, data models)

• Experience building, communicating, and executing technical and/or functional roadmaps

• Self-motivated and active learner, strong problem solver

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional and program organizations, and with multiple business areas

• Excellent written, verbal and briefing/presentation communications skills

• Experience leading virtual teams

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical Discipline; or combined education/experience in a relevant technical field

Desired Skills:

• Experience with use and administration of PTC Product Suite, such as Windchill and Creo Parametric

• Experience with development, implementation and testing of standard CAD, Part, and Configuration Management processes or databases/tools

• Experience with integration of PLM, ERP, MES data (Parts, Models, BOMs, etc.)

• Familiarity with MES and ERP platforms and tools

• SQL and DB Skills

• C++, Visual Studio, JavaScript, Adobe Acrobat Development

• Understanding of Digital Transformation, Model Based Enterprise (MBE), and Model Based Definition (MBD)

• Understanding of agile methodologies, or execution on an Agile team

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $115,500 - $217,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
