Thermo Fisher Scientific Sr. Manager of Commercial Finance in Boston, Massachusetts
The experienced Sr. Manager, Commercial position will provide support in multiple functions within the CAD Division. The position will have an ownership role in reporting, analysis, forecasting, preparing Monthly Commercial Reviews (MBR) and development of the Commercial Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with focus on the Global Commercial organization within the North America and EMEA in addition to be a key support role for the global CAD commercial organization.
Monitor and support performance of the CAD Global Commercial organization, focused on North America and EMEA analysis. With Global roll up responsibilities.
Implement activities that support the strategies of the key areas of responsibility
Work directly with the CAD Division team as well as peers in other business units to drive profitability, customer compliance and market penetration.
Drive key initiatives, process improvement and productivity projects and ensuring benefits realization and tracking through appropriate KPIs.
Provide accurate financial records including forecasting and regional actuals.
Drive consistency and best practice sharing across the regions through partnership and team work.
Drive monthly analysis and preparation of the Monthly/Quarterly Business Review package (MBR/QBR).
Drive Group, Division, and Commercial initiatives to help reach goals set forth by AIG and CAD.
Analyze operational performance and work with the operations team to understand capacity, efficiency, and proper forecasting to help manage capacity
Ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity of financial data.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Required
Minimum 6-10 years of related experience in financial and operational analysis, reporting and accounting leadership within a large, professionally managed operating company
Exceptional analytical ability
Track record of consolidating financial results from multiple ERP platforms for the purpose of commercial analysis
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic support and analysis to enable solid, tactical execution of business decisions

10% travel required
Strong understanding of IT systems
