<h4><strong>Senior Product Design Lead - Experimentation</strong></h4>
<p><strong>Who We Are</strong></p>
<p>We’re the Experience Design (XD) team at Wayfair, and we’re tackling exciting problems that are reshaping how people discover, find, purchase and have goods delivered to their homes. We’re a diverse, multidisciplinary team of world-class designers who are hard at work transforming the experience of shopping for your home. Our design practice is collaborative, data-driven, and fast-paced.</p>
<p>We’re also the Platforms team, enabling our partners to design, build, test, and iterate on amazing customer-facing experiences with nuance at any scale. Our Experimentation space is part of this work, building tools for testing content and measuring results with precision within an immensely configurable ecosystem.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<p>A strong candidate will relish the opportunity to jump into a highly visible workstream that drives significant impact. You are an empathetic designer, leader, and partner who can dive deep into a domain, drive a vision, and execute on new opportunities end-to-end. Additionally, you’re gifted in UI design, are user-centered, and love turning quantitative and qualitative findings into insights and strategy to drive product priorities.</p>
<p> As a member of Experience Design:</p>
<ul>
<li>Utilize design thinking principles to build engaging user experiences which solve goals with elegant simplicity.</li>
<li>Collaborate with product managers, developers, user researchers, and other experience designers to execute design concepts that deliver on user & business goals, and are technically feasible to implement.</li>
<li>Drive a sense of urgency in the team to deliver work, emphasizing the use of lean tools and techniques to more rapidly deliver work.</li>
<li>Day-to-day work will consist of a combination of product oversight, design execution, and gaining user insights.</li>
<li>Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills. Be a strategist who can take a step back on overarching goals and opportunities, while also acting as a product practitioner who can meticulously work alongside their teams with domain knowledge and design prowess.</li>
<li>Contribute to the development of team members through dedicated mentorship, or less formal coaching and advice.</li>
</ul>
<p>As a member of Experimentation:</p>
<ul>
<li>Support our internal Experimentation platforms, Gambit and Block Builder</li>
<li>Dive deep into understanding our platforms’ users to uncover foundational needs, current pain points, and future opportunities</li>
<li>Create a long-term vision for these platforms, as well as where and how they should integrate into Wayfair’s broader content management ecosystem</li>
<li>Drive end-to-end experiences and enhancements, from discovery through ideation and refinement - then learning from the results to inform future work</li>
<li>Run point for XD on AI initiatives that relate to Experimentation</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>We Are a Match Because You Have:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of design experience, with strong experience in internal tooling and/or e-commerce experiences.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
<li>Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, and creative problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of design processes; knowledge of what is possible and what will be hard to achieve and/or implement in a digital environment.</li>
<li>Expertise in producing design deliverables, including detailed user flows/task flows, user journeys, page flows, taxonomies/folksonomies, wireframes, annotations, and prototypes that represent interaction recommendations, etc..</li>
<li>Strong skills in modern design tools like Figma.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS (hands-on skills a plus)</li>
<li>An online portfolio of case studies that demonstrates an ability to effectively design for highly technical experiences, unfailing advocacy for the user, data-driven approach, and strategic thinking.</li>
