About the Job

We're seeking a well-rounded Full Stack Engineer to design the platform that will enable IGIU’s product portfolio to quickly uptake OCI AI capabilities, with a focus on Generative AI, to make our products smarter, more efficient and a joy to use. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including application product managers, software engineers, data scientists, data engineers, and user experience designers. Our new platform will be built directly on OCI based on cloud native principles. We build to scale globally, leveraging state-of-the-art tooling, with zero downtime.

What You’ll Make Happen

  • Build the integration framework to connect our new AI capabilities with the IGIU product suite.

  • Develop the prompt engineering framework to access data needed from the IGIU product suite.

  • Leverage Oracle’s APEX and JavaScript to build front-end experiences for Oracle employees building on the AI Accelerator Platform.

  • You’ll contribute to ideas for how to architect our platform for scale.

About You:

  • 5+ years of software development and design experience. Deep experience developing with Java. Experience with Python, JavaScript and other languages is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience building enterprise Cloud Services. Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud)

  • You’ve built rich tools for use by your team and other internal customers.

  • You’ve made life easier for other developers and have motivated your teams to make both process and service improvements with your ability to automate and instrument properly to get the right data.

  • Deep experience with continuous deployment tools. Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration technology is a plus.

  • Interest in Generative AI including prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and fine tuning.

  • You are comfortable working at all levels of the technical stack.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic approach to building scalable and robust machine learning systems.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity. You have a strong sense of ownership, can define your own work plan and can drive projects to completion.

  • You are excited to learn new technologies and stay on the cutting edge of what’s possible

  • You’ve taken a product or platform from 0 to 1, you know what it takes to launch something novel

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $81,500 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
