About the CPQ Solution Specialist

The Salesforce CPQ Solution Specialist is a key member of Verndale’s Salesforce Delivery Practice. In addition to being responsible for business analysis, the CPQ Solution Specialist will work directly with the project team and clients gathering requirements to analyze, design and/or implement SFDC CPQ. The qualified candidate should have solid functional and/or industry knowledge, as well as familiarity of Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ. Our clients are world leading organizations that have selected Salesforce to optimize their business and business practices.. The CPQ Solution Specialist is an essential team member for our clients and inside the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional leadership and best practices on the SFDC CPQ platform.

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand their business processes, prioritize information needs, and translate business requirements into systems solutions.

  • Work with clients and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements.

  • Document As-Is business processes, business requirements and solution designs for Salesforce platform.

  • Work collaboratively with internal team members to design a solution that will meet the customer's requirements.

  • Analyze, design, and configure SFDC CPQ solutions.

  • Liaison between customer stakeholders and Verndale SF development/technical team to communicate requirements for solution design, development, testing, and implementation.

  • Design and configure Salesforce implementations.

  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements.

  • Assist with project management, planning and coordination of project activities

    Desired Certifications

  • Certified CPQ Specialist

  • Salesforce Administrator

  • Sales Cloud Consultant

    Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, SFDC specific business analysis, SFDC Platform/CPQ Implementations.

  • Proficiency in administrative tasks such as managing permissions, page layouts, templates, approvals, workflow, reports and dashboards

  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers and coworkers

  • Exceptionally collaborative, flexible and adaptable when working with customers and various teams

  • 3-5 years hands on experience working on salesforce.com implementations, product selection. bundling and configuration rules, pricing and discounting, quote output generation, contracting process.

  • Strong working knowledge of core SFDC Sales Cloud and Service Clouds
