Make a splash at The Colonnade at our Boston rooftop pool. Offering an exhilarating gathering place for family and friends to enjoy a carefully-crafted cocktail among the Boston after going for a dip in our sparkling RTP rooftop pool. Our Boston hotel with pool has been considered one of the world’s sexiest rooftop pools, offering a refined urban retreat. POSITION PURPOSE: To provide a warm, welcoming greeting to our guests, and to ensure that the guests’ RTP experience is exceptional. To ensure that guests are greeted in a timely manner, and to provide a sincere and heartfelt thank you to each guest as they leave. Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Meet and greet guests as they arrive, provide pool information. * Control heavy volume at RTP entrance. * Attend to and anticipate guest’s needs. * Familiarization with menu. * Collect money for general admissions for non hotel guests. * Handle of all monies received and the operation of a cash register. * Answering the telephone and provide RTP information. * Assists in general maintenance and clean-up of activities/facilities. Skills, Abilities and Experience needed to be successful * Experience in fast food service and/or running a cash register. * Must be available to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays. * CPR/AED and First Aid certification desirable PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in indoor/outdoor environments.
