<p><strong>Program Dates: January 6th, 2025 - June 20th, 2025</strong></p>

<p><strong>*This is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation</strong></p>

<p><strong>Who We Are:&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p>Wayfair’s Operations organization is revolutionizing the customer experience through the development of a proprietary logistics network and optimization platform that manages the end-to-end supply chain, from overseas production to the customer’s front door. Teams include CastleGate Forwarding and Planning &amp; Analytics. Top candidates will possess strong business acumen and an appetite for solving challenging business problems. This is a unique opportunity to help build another competitive advantage for Wayfair while growing your own communication, analytical, and cross-functional partnership skills.</p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to management both within and outside your immediate line of reporting</li>

<li>Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams across Operations&nbsp;</li>

<li>Monitor key performance indicators and work collaboratively to improve the quality of our logistics and supply chain operation</li>

<li>Create and deliver communication plans with external partners including suppliers, logistics, Wayfair’s proprietary freight forwarding service (CastleGate Forwarding), and external 3rd party logistics companies (3PL)</li>

<li>Assist team in day to day operations and find ways to improve process efficiency</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>What You’ll Need:&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Current Sophomore or Junior student pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (eg. Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Economics, Management) with a 3.0 GPA minimum</li>

<li>Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the Co-op</li>

<li>Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 6 to June 20, 2025 in our Boston office</li>

<li>You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>CastleGate Forwarding</strong></p>

<p>CastleGate Forwarding is a digital freight forwarding organization within Wayfair's broader CastleGate Logistics network. We offer a full suite of shipping services that aims to provide Wayfair suppliers with competitive and convenient logistics solutions.</p>

<p><strong>Planning &amp; Analytics</strong></p>

<p>Wayfair’s Planning &amp; Analytics team consists of 5 interrelated teams: Forecasting &amp; Replenishment Analytics, Network Management, Operations Analytics, Operations Performance Management/Global Analytics Tech, and Operations Research (OR). Together, these teams deliver insights and support capability development that cuts across the other functional areas and helps us make better decisions across various time horizons, and drive overall network performance/network outcomes. This includes, for example: (a) driving operational planning and coordination across all functional areas for our order-to-delivery chain, (b) shaping long-term strategy and network design, (c) providing the single source of truth for performance across Operations, and (d) applying advanced optimization techniques to enable automated, yet high-quality operational decisions at scale.</p>

<p><strong>Wayfair Co-op Program Overview:</strong></p>

<p>Based in Wayfair’s Boston headquarters, our co-op program is a six-month, full-time, paid program that runs twice annually in January to June and July to December. Through the co-op program, students have the opportunity to gain impactful professional experience in their major or career field of interest by fully integrating with Wayfair business units. In addition to exciting project work, Wayfair co-ops have the opportunity to build their professional networks, take advantage of training offerings, and attend social events throughout the program.</p>

<p><strong>Wayfair's In-Office Policy:</strong></p>

<p>All Boston-based interns, co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity.
