.NET Senior/Principal Software Engineer

$60/hr - $75/hr

A hospital in the greater Boston area is looking for a Senior or Principal Software Engineer to join their oncology team. They are looking for this candidate to join them on a contract basis; the role is hybrid in the area. The ideal candidate is skilled with C#, .NET 6, SQL, and Azure. Unit Testing/Test driven development is a must. Large pros are Java and Blazor experience. Though, they are not necessary.

The oncology team is currently developing a microbiology testing application and is looking to develop several other products, such as a resource for their laboratories and a hormonal testing application. The data is then collected for doctors to view and edit, within HIPAA standards, as needed. Additionally, if you are mission-driven, there is no better place to work than in a company that aims to save and heal others.

Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Highly skilled in C#, and .NET Core development

• Strong querying experience using MS SQL preferred

• Experience using Git tooling and familiarity with test-driven development practices

• Experience with unit testing, specifically N-Unit

• Azure cloud development experience

• Passionate about Healthcare

Desired Skills & Experience

• Any experience using Blazor

• Java exposure

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science or related field
