Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a Mobile SDET - Automation Engineer to join their team. As a Mobile SDET - Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, innovative problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile SDET - Automation Engineer

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

What's the Job?

  • Lead and design automated solutions including unit testing, functional testing, UI testing, and performance testing for mobile applications.

  • Develop and document test UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java and Appium.

  • Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features while maintaining automated regression suites/packages.

  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure software quality.

  • Innovatively uncover issues during the development phase and contribute to quality improvement processes.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on mobile automation.

  • Hands-on experience with mobile test automation tools, specifically Appium, and proficiency in Java and Shell scripting.

  • Experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD management tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
