What You Will Do :
This role is focused on developing and executing marketing programs that support the firm’s business and revenue goals for the ES&I segment specifically in the State & Local Government practice —with a focus on leading, as well as supporting, client events, conference sponsorships, and industry event memberships and partnerships. The person in this role will report to a Marketing Manager and support all operations required to execute on impactful lead generating B2B events and memberships from pre-event through post-event—including but not limited to social media, website content creation and management, event content, collateral, and all logistics.
The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring the optimal management of priority events and memberships within the segment and delivering impact across existing and potential customers. This person will execute on a comprehensive strategy for segment communications for target audience pre-engagement, within engagement, and post-engagement at industry events, to industry analysts, partners, customers, and among other key audiences and provide post-event reporting on event success and leads generated.
The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities. This individual must be able to work independently and take ownership of various cross-segment go-to-market initiatives and operations. We are looking for a marketing professional with strong organizational skills, experience with lead generation and nurturing campaigns, and outstanding customer service skills, who is enthusiastic and detail-oriented, with a passion for events to:
Lead as well as support the planning and execution of sponsored industry conferences and client events (in-person and virtual events); activities include but are not limited to acting as point of contact with practice teams, providing on-site meeting management, contract negotiation, event budget management, managing all sponsorship and event logistics (including branding and communication, attendee management/registration, food and beverage, audiovisual, and meeting space management).
Follow documented procedures and protocol related to all aspects of events.
Manage third-party vendor and industry organization relationships.
Proactively collect, track, interpret, and report ROI for memberships, events, and other marketing programs.
Develop, execute, and support integrated omnichannel marketing campaigns and programs that generate, and nurture leads and drive sales for the segment.
Develop and edit content and employ best practices across digital marketing and social media channels.
Manage content updates on the firms internal and external websites (including writing and editing content).
What You Will Need :
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism or a related field preferred
5+ years marketing and communications experience in either professional services or consulting preferred
Event management and execution experience required
State and Local Government marketing experience preferred
Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel expertise preferred
Experience with Sitecore content management, Sprout Social, Dynamics CRM, and LinkedIn preferred
InDesign experience a plus
Demonstrated project management and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Outstanding writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt communications to different audiences
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of management
The ability to work remotely in a fast-paced environment where collaboration is necessary and accountability is expected
The ability to work effectively under pressure and make decisions independently
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret campaign and other metrics in order to shape decisions made from the data and report ROI
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
What Would Be Nice To Have :
The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
Candidates must be located in EST or CST time zones in order to be considered or be willing to work an EST schedule.
The annual salary range for this position is $75,800.00-$113,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
