What You’ll Be Doing:
Manager, Project and Program Management
(Manager, Correspondence Project and Program Management)
The Manager, Correspondence Project and Program Management on the Correspondence team will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of correspondence projects into production. In addition to using traditional project management and Agile methodologies as appropriate to the needs of the project. The person in this role must be an experienced project manager with Scrum experience (certification preferred). Management of Correspondence staff is included in this role.
Collaboration Opportunities:
This position serves as a senior member of a cross-functional project team consisting of individuals from various departments.
Responsible for informing other departments of project status and timelines.
Responsible for creating the sprint release schedule and coordinating activities for successful and timely cycle releases.
Works directly with senior leadership on highly visible, strategic projects.
What You Will Be Doing:
Ensure all involved teams execute appropriate testing protocols, confirm testing outcomes and approvals are documented.
Effectively manages evolving and competing objectives using project management skills and tools.
Develop and maintain project charters, detailed project plans, status updates and provides problem resolution.
Represent the cross-functional requirements of the project in all meetings that relate to the project.
Provide direction and manage assigned Correspondence team staff members.
Responsibility for standardization and documentation of department procedures.
Lead coordinating practices in Agile methods such as Release Planning, Iteration Planning, Scoping Sessions, Grooming etc.
Create and manage a Correspondence scrum board, maintain the product backlog.
Create Product Roadmap and Release Plan in partnership with stakeholders and leadership.
Coordinate Correspondence project releases inter and cross-departmentally using lean/agile methods, ensuring the integrity of the live environment is protected and the correct components are released and verified.
Maintain quality checks on releases and record those that directly or indirectly cause support Incidents.
Ensure the release list is complete and accurate prior to each sprint release into production.
Qualifications - Required and Preferred:
Project/Program Management Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
5+ years of Project/ Program Management experience in the healthcare industry.
Certifications: LSSBB – Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification – Enterprise is beneficial, though not required.
Scrum Master Certification is a plus but not required.
Advanced knowledge of project management practices and methodologies.
Successful track record of delivering projects within scope and on time with superior results.
Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, direct, control and monitor project activities.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform financial (ROI) and quantitative analysis.
Self-directed and motivated with strong analytical skills, systematic and orderly planning abilities, and high attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to evaluate key business objectives and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives.
Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office suite, specifically
Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $95,000 to $100,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
