Boston Architectural College Human Resources Coordinator in Boston, Massachusetts

The BAC is proud of the HR team we have onboard and the value they provide every day. We are adding an additional person to join our competent team. The HR Coordinator is a critical member of our highly service-oriented HR team and acts as an initial contact to address the administrative and service needs of our staff. The HR Coordinator works on our HRIS system (Paycom) to solve simple inquiries and escalates more complex issues to appropriate HR Representative or Director.

The HR Coordinator is highly organized, manages shifting priorities and is “game” to pivot and change in their role as needed. They are expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. They will have excellent administrative and HRIS skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in an ever changing environment.

PRIMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Inputs new hires and changes into our HRIS system. Updates HRIS information as needed

  • Assists with the onboarding of new hires and adjunct staff. Ensure all pre-employment requirements are met

  • Assists with I-9 Everywhere processes

  • Trouble shoots inquiries from HRQuestions and directly from our employee base

  • Interfaces with benefits and Paycom vendors to troubleshoot issues

  • Assists with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests such as employment verifications, etc.

  • Assist with payroll and ad hoc HR projects.

  • Assists in cyclical tasks such as benefits open enrollment, new hire onboarding, offboarding,

  • Support other assigned functions

  • Assist with HRIS audits

  • Minimum High School diploma. Bachelors degree preferred
