We are searching for a passionate Design & Manufacture manager to define and execute Autodesk’s AEX education strategy for winning over the next generation of design and manufacturing professionals, ensuring they not only master our tools but develop a strong preference for Autodesk. Reporting to the senior manager of business development and strategy, you will provide visibility into the global trends impacting future skilling. With your design and manufacturing industry expertise and deep knowledge of both Autodesk CAD/CAM technology, you will not only help develop the strategy you will help see it be executed as you lead the multi- functional team globally to reach OKRs and gain invaluable insight which will maximize impact. Given your expertise in this digital transformation you can help contribute to the thought leadership platform.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-profile, global initiative that is key to Autodesk’s long-term growth strategy and make a positive impact on the diverse individuals and industries we serve. Demonstrate and document industry, market, customer and competitor expertise
Educate broader organization on industry trends and have a close pulse on the competitive landscape
Build and contribute to the thought leadership platform both internally and externally with customers, partners, the press, and employees
Develop one to three-year vision and strategic plans
Gather/Communicate and document education customer insights and communicate to product team
Work with product and platform teams to make new product offerings available to the education audience
Partner closely with industry stakeholders to ensure complete alignment with commercial strategy
Identify and prioritize key target segments, audiences, and geographies; specifically, as it relates to emerging new roles and skills for the future of work in this space.
Develop and drive execution of the go-to-market strategies across functions, channels and geographies
Define KPIs/metrics, and publish/present quarterly analysis/updates and insights on the health of the business
8-10 years of mechanical engineering or manufacturing experience
5+ years management consulting, product management, or strategy leader
Experience with Autodesk or related products including CAD, simulation, and CAM workflows
Extremely knowledgeable about Fusion360 and other D&M workflows
Successfully led strategy projects from assessment through implementation
Implemented meaningful organization change and measurable impact
Managed high-performance teams to meet challenging goals & objectives
MBA, B.S. in Mechanical Engineering preferred
A real passion for inspiring and empowering tomorrow's technology leaders
Worked in Higher Education or Community College environment
Once safe to travel, willingness to travel, including internationally, up to 20%
