Program Details:

A day as a CBRE Investment Management Intern:

Work in one of many exciting areas of the organization. Work on cash flow modeling with our finance team, rationalize a big data set to find trends with our analytics team, participate in potential investor industry review with our private infrastructure team, or understand the metrics of a deal by underwriting leases and maintaining property models with our strategic partners team.

A 10 - week, full-time, paid, internship with a potential opportunity to join the organization for a full-time role in the future.

What you’ll do:

  • Network with CBRE IM leaders, as well as those within the larger CBRE organization.

  • Learn from the best through a series of executive webinars with top company leaders.

  • Be included in team meetings, gaining the inside scoop of how our hard-working teams achieve results.

  • Participate in social events and be given the opportunity to network with your fellow interns.

  • Complete a full life-cycle, real asset investment group project and present findings to CBRE IM leadership at the end of the summer to showcase your work and abilities.

What you’ll need:

  • Currently an undergraduate junior pursuing your undergraduate degree, OR currently a 1 st year graduate student in Finance, Real estate, Economics, Business, Accounting, Math, or similar

  • A graduation date from December 2025 - June 2026

  • Strong interest in real estate and analytics

  • Critical thinking skills

  • An ability to take initiative and be an entrepreneurial-minded, self-starter

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a drive to build a network in the real asset management industry

  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite: Word, PowerPoint Excel, Outlook

  • Interest in learning how to utilize analytical investment management tools

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum hourly rate for this role is $20/hour and the maximum salary for the position is $40/hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
