HP Inc. Business Planning and Communications Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts

This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective communication plans to maximize identified opportunities and achieve performance goals within the organization. The role develops recommendations from complex data and communication analysis and formulates them into strategic communication plans. The role analyzes data, including metrics, audience insights, and communication effectiveness, to support strategic decision-making and monitors performance against strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manages complex data and communication analysis to develop strategic communication plans and make recommendations.

  • Works independently to construct complex statistical and communication models to forecast communication performance.

  • Defines the metrics required to measure communication effectiveness, compares actual data to forecasted values, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps.

  • Identifies, cultivates, and fosters new communication opportunities and relationships to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation.

  • Contributes to priority projects with complex analysis and assists in developing communication recommendations.

  • Develops go-forward communication plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns.

  • Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key communication decisions.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.

  • Proven experience in strategic communications, data analysis, and project management.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with communication metrics, audience insights, and media relations.

The base pay range for this role is $82 800 up to $118 000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
