Business Analyst- Data Analytics Team (Remote)

The Data Analyst I within Clinical Effectiveness will provide expertise to extract, manage, manipulate, and analyze data to educate our Customer Success Team, our Product Team, our Sales Team and our clients. This information is used to understand the effectiveness of our products and evaluate their impact on our clients and their patients.

As our company and client base grows, so do our analysis efforts. This position will help us to refine our current processes and provide enhanced analytics internally and externally.

  • You have an understanding of data and can translate it into actionable insights for our

internal business partners.

  • You love the technical side of data (programming, databases, visualization), but appreciate the business problem at hand and use data to solve those problems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a detailed understanding of our products, our customers, and the underlying data.

  • Build end-to-end data solutions utilizing our analytics technologies to answer questions.

  • Provide meaningful insights to business leaders through a combination of descriptive and predictive analytics.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and statistical models that track key metrics and indicators.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's in Information Management, Healthcare Information, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics or related fields preferred, or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

  • 0-2 years of data analysis experience (will take into consideration projects and/or internships).

  • Comfortable telling stories with data.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Effective listener.

  • Experience writing SQL and extracting data from enterprise data warehouses (T-SQL or PL/SQL).

  • Experience with advanced data analysis tools such as Python, R or Julia.

  • Excel user who can write complex formulas (index match, VLOOKUP, etc.), has used PowerQuery, and VBA programming experience.

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, etc. or experience creating visualizations using RStudio, Python, D3, etc.

  • Understanding of statistical theory and when to use different statistical methods.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Abilities:

  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work productively and manage priorities with little supervision.

  • Can work effectively with teammates.

  • Industry knowledge: healthcare (payor, provider) is a plus.
