What We Need:
The Associate Director of the Generative AI team will be responsible for leading a team of AI engineers, product owners, and implementation team to develop state-of-the-art Generative AI applications. They will manage the team's day-to-day operations, set the technical direction, and ensure the team stays at the forefront of Generative AI adoption

Your Day to Day
Craft and execute a visionary strategy that positions Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA as a leader in Generative AI applications in healthcare payer industry.
Collaborate with stakeholders across our organization to identify opportunities where Generative AI can add value to the organization's products or services.
Manage an implementation team working on Generative AI projects, including defining backlogs, project roadmaps and milestones, delegating tasks, and overseeing progress
Evolve the operating model for developing, deploying, and delivering business value with Generative AI applications

We’re Looking for:
Evangelize the benefits of GenAI to various stakeholders, addressing any concerns or fears.
Lead the change by inspiring confidence, calming uncertainties and engaging the enterprise with key use cases for Healthcare industry.
Proven experience in leading AI engineering or research teams, ideally with a focus on Generative AI.
What You Bring:
8-10 years of experience leading multi-level engineering teams
Experience in developing and deploying AI models in production environments, including cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Master’s in computer science, Machine Learning, or a related field with a strong focus on Generative AI techniques is preferred.

Salary Range: $188,460.00 - $230,340.00
The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
