State of Massachusetts Assistant Director, Digital Operations in Boston, Massachusetts

JOB SUMMARY The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission (“MSLC”) is constantly enhancing its world-class digital program to increase engagement with existing and potential customers utilizing digitally powered player experiences across all distribution channels. This position serves as a vital member of the Digital Operations team, managing the coordination of digital platform projects, digital engagement efforts, and integrations on all digital portals, including the Lottery’s website, mobile app and iLottery platform, as well as assisting with the development of new digital initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Lead and oversee software development projects using Agile methodologies and the SCRUM framework * Manage project timelines, tasks, budgets, and resources * Coordinate with internal and external teams, including designers, developers, and testers, to deliver new products, features, and application enhancements * Lead the implementation of new features on digital platforms, impacting internal processes * Liaise with third-party vendors and partners to manage scope changes and deliverables * Assign, review, and approve deliverables from internal teams and external vendors * Collaborate with the Marketing Department to execute product and promotional communications across digital channels * Ensure digital programs meet assigned performance metrics * Oversee the scoping and implementation of integration projects * Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences * Engage in planning and executing Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities * Perform other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * *Relevant experience in managing software development projects and teams * Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities * Organized and efficient; able to work in a fast-paced, challenging, creative, and delivery-focused environment * Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies and SCRUM framework * Ability to easily adapt to changing priorities * PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * *Experience scoping and implementing integration projects * Experience in digital marketing * Excellent organization skills and attention to detail * Clear written and verbal communication skills * A passion for gaming and creating exceptional digital experiences * Strong technical mindset * Experience managing a unionized workforce *Job: Unclassified* *Organization: State Lottery Commission *Title: *Assistant Director, Digital Operations Location: Massachusetts-Boston - 150 Mt.
