Job Title: Purchasing & Inventory Manager Department: Customer Experience Salary Range: $17-$25 Reports to: Customer Experience & Accounting Support Manager FLSA Status: Non Exempt Closing Date: Open Until Filled SUMMARY: The Purchasing & Inventory Manager is responsible for effectively managing the procurement of various goods and services, while maintaining a positive relationship with the suppliers. The PIM is responsible for ensuring our team has access to the materials and products required to operate effectively. Process purchase orders, track purchases, manage inventory levels, work with Accounts payable to process & track vendor invoices, and provide general office support while working cross functionally with other departments within Mohawk Networks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Coordinate the purchasing process from start to finish. Track inventory/warehouse stock levels and order supplies as needed. Work with department heads to determine their purchasing needs and keep an updated spreadsheet of project materials. Ensure all purchase orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise. Participate in the selection of new suppliers as needed. Maintain an accurate record of all purchasing activities on a shared credit card log. Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when engaging with vendors, customers and fellow associates. Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times. Work collaboratively and support efforts of team members. Provide high-level support by answering inquiries concerning billing, pricing, products, etc. May occasionally be responsible to process customer payments through our glds payment platform. Other duties as assigned by department managers. Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for integrating with field technicians & project leads. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully complete the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar position. Ideal candidates will have prior experience with Procurement & Inventory. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Knowledge of NetSuite Platform. Education and/or Experience: Previous work related skill, knowledge, or experience in purchasing coordination and inventory management. Mohawk Networks, LLC.
