Key Responsibilities:

• Under limited supervision, prepares application drawings utilizing Aluma Products.

• Under limited supervision, develops working details and drawings based on conceptual designs

• Prepares accurate calculations using standard engineering methods and utilizing design software if necessary.

• Review and approve application drawings prepared by others for simple to medium complexity projects.

• Recommends solutions and makes decisions based on independent studies and analyses.

• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established engineering procedures.

• Occasionally visits construction sites.

• Other duties as assigned.

• This position has limited supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in engineering / Applied Science or equivalent.

• Registered as a Professional Engineer with a recognized Professional Engineering Association.

• Has a minimum of 4 (four) years of experience.

• The job requires good written and oral communication skills (English) to convey facts and information clearly.

• Sound working knowledge of AutoCAD software and MSOffice.

• Good knowledge of basic structural analysis software.

• Must posses a professional engineering license.

• Commitment to professional career development.

• Demonstrated team work and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to work collegially with sales personnel and others to provide customer-focused engineered solutions in the rental and/or sale of forming, shoring and scaffolding products.

• Ability to prioritize own tasks efficiently and effectively

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sit for prolonged periods of time. Requires concentration for sustained periods when analyzing and reviewing a wide range of routine and semi-routine documentation, facts and details in order to develop routine and semi-routine technical drawings. Frequently required to stand and walk. Dexterity is required when operating the computer and equipment
