Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Mechanical Drafter with proficient SolidWorks, CAD, and AutoCAD skills in Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States. This role involves the use of CAD tools for product design within a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize SolidWorks for 3D CAD design tasks

• Employ AutoCAD for various drafting and design projects

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain precise customer credit records and resolve any inquiries

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions

• Apply knowledge of GD& T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) in design processes

• Contribute to the design of manufactured products

• Implement backup technologies in the working process

• Utilize computer-aided manufacturing and software engineering techniques

• Draw upon blueprint understanding for design tasks

• Work within a manufacturing company environment, adhering to its specific processes and requirements. Requirements • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD software

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Drafter

• Strong knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM)

• Experience with 2D Drawing and 3D Design

• Understanding of Manufacturing processes and familiarity with Manufacturing Company environments

• Competence in reading and interpreting BluePrints

• Ability to design Manufactured Products using appropriate software tools

• Proficiency in MFG and Backup Technologies

• Experience with Computer Aided Software Engineering tools
