As a Technical Customer Manager for the Cloud Segment in the Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU) you will support Micron’s Cloud and Hyperscale data center customers across a comprehensive range of DDR, LPDDR, and HBM based memory products and solutions!

You will be a primary interface between the customer and Micron internal teams, developing a long-term relationship and serving as a lead project manager for regular communications inclusive of qualifications, issue resolution, and critical outgoing messaging to meet business plans!

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Cloud customers to ensure Micron is a trusted advisor and preferred supplier

  • Lead the qualification of new product introductions (NPI) at targeted customers and their OEM/ODM partners

  • Definition and execution of customer qualification plans and schedules

  • Leading customerconcerns by driving priorities on issue resolution-closure-corrective action

  • Give technical and business input as it relates to Micron’s products and overall business needs

  • Drive collaboration across segments to ensure timely customer enablement and successful ramp of new products.

  • Leading regular customer communication, understand customer needs, and drive associated next steps

  • Ensuring sample requirements are identified and committed to your customer

  • Provide regular customer updates to Micron management

  • Work with Micron development and validation teams on the customer qualification process as well as the critical customer requirements

  • Work closely with Micron Business Development, Program Management, Sales and Field teams to align Micron’s product roadmaps with customer needs and business goals

Qualifications and Education:

  • Demonstrated project management skills, executive presentation abilities and customer relationship management experience are key requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Memory or related high-tech experience including interaction with sales, customers, engineers and product development teams. Preferably within Memory, Cloud/Hyperscale companies or related field

  • Understanding of server system architecture, data center design, Memory device design, applications engineer and technical sales

  • Able to relay technical information to and from the customer verbally and in writing at a professional level

  • Proven record working with multi-functional teams and communicating customer impacts and tradeoffs.

  • A strong, driven personality who can work as an advocate for the customer within the engineering teams

  • Experience with success in strategic customer engagement with a broad-based understanding of the memory industry.

  • College degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or business/marketing coupled with significant technical experience

  • Travel up to 10%-20% may be required

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$116,500.00 - $263,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
