Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry of finance and accounting, based in Boise, Idaho, United States. We are seeking a Staff Accountant who is well-versed in handling various accounting tasks, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, handling accounts payable and receivable, and other general accounting duties.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting bank reconciliations for multiple banks to ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Utilizing accounting software such as Yardi for various accounting tasks (not a mandatory skill).

• Handling a large volume of bank transactions and ensuring they are appropriately allocated.

• Using problem-solving skills to identify and rectify discrepancies in banking transactions.

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain financial records.

• Updating and maintaining the general ledger for accurate financial reporting.

• Preparing journal entries and month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Demonstrating a proactive approach in recognizing potential banking errors and taking appropriate action.

• Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner, particularly in periods of high volume workload. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations

• Have a strong understanding of General Ledger management

• Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries accurately

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with Yardi software is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
