Key Responsibilities:

Lead Site Supplier Performance and Relationships

Own procurement process for designated areas and accounts

  • Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs and support site audits

  • Support capital budgeting and cash flow management, and the execution of Global Procurement strategies

Implement cost savings and process improvement programs

  • Recommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects and functions

Implement processes to monitor performance with key suppliers

  • Analyze sourcing trends and make recommendations

  • Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal setting

Apply should-cost models for assigned categories

  • Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers

  • Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets

  • Provide market intelligence and category price trends

  • Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc.

Lead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation

  • Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements

  • Develop sourcing strategy and drive sourcing events for construction and design. This includes RFQ or RFP, negotiations with bidders, and bid awards with DA.

Business Partnering

  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration

  • Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories

  • Drive a customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement

Claim Resolution

  • Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels.

  • Monitor the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure the best quality at the best value.

  • Recommend cost-saving proposals, including make vs. buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria.

You are:

  • Experienced in category management and construction procurement, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech industry

Demonstrate experience in strategic sourcing

  • 8+ years of experience in Construction Procurement, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Preconstruction Services, Budgeting and/or Cost control.

  • Proficient in written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management, Supply Chain, or similar relevant field.
