As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer in the OCSX department, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into powerful insights that drive strategic decisions. Your work will tackle moderate to complex business challenges, using data from multiple data sources to provide critical guidance to decision-makers. This role requires you to engage deeply with multifaceted data sets, unraveling the complexities to deliver actionable insights that influence the direction of the department.

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer isn't just about handling data-it's about storytelling through data. In this role, you'll leverage advanced tools, technologies, and methodologies to turn raw information into compelling narratives that drive our organizational strategy. You'll be responsible for not just analyzing data but for interpreting it in ways that uncover hidden opportunities and potential risks, ultimately helping us make informed, strategic decisions. You will focus on integrating and analyzing large, complex datasets from various sources, ensuring that every insight is both precise and impactful. Your partnership with portfolio management will be crucial in developing advanced models and tools that not only streamline our processes but also enhance our financial health by identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of technical experience in data analysis OR Master's degree and 3 or more years of experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

  • Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations

  • Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction

  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership

  • Expertise in data including data modeling, normalized data structures, automated ETL, and extracting insights from disparate datasets

  • Self-driven, well organized, and able to interface with all levels of leadership

  • High level of attention to detail, careful handling of data, and ability to create various checks on the data to ensure accuracy prior to distribution

  • Strong ability to use Python to perform ETL with knowledge of best practices like DRY

  • Experience with tools such as Power BI for creating data visualizations

  • Familiar with Portfolio Financial Methods - Actual/Budget/Forecast

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

  • Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling

Work at Home Guidance

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$78,800 - $108,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
