This market will cover the states of Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Neveda, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, North Dakota, Utah and Wyoming .

What You Will Do

Job Summary:

Responsible for fully integrating all Company objectives and strategies to drive executional results. Supervise Division Sales Managers and Regional Account Managers and role model persuasive selling skills and optimal coverage designs that enables success for Sales Individuals. Leverages industry knowledge and relationships to drive revenue of Company products and services with a focus on current and new account opportunities. Work closely with internal and external sales channels to provide daily oversight and assure proper planning, resources, and alliances for successful promotion of Company products.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Duties and Responsibilities:

Talent Development and Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and develops individual team members to improve skills and performance.

• Creates a positive environment while supervising Division Sales Managers and Regional Account Managers.

• Coach and motivates the team for executional excellence.

• Makes personnel decisions and recommendations with input from HR partners.

Customer Development:

• Engages with leadership to share key customer requirements and identify opportunities for leverage.

• Supports Regional Account Managers in implementing Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes.

• Partners with top customers in the region to align objectives.

Retail Coverage:

• Optimize retail store coverage designs with Division Sales Managers to achieve strategic objectives.

• Direct team resources to meet productivity objectives on a store-by-store basis.

Retail Store Development:

• Identify opportunities for improved results in the region.

• Maximize effectiveness of Merchandising Fixtures/Displays/POS at retail.

• Ensures retail partnership agreements are maintained by retail stores.

Retail Execution & Selling:

• Drives adoption of formal Customer Joint Business Plans (JBP’s) at top accounts.

• Coach and develops Division Sales Managers and Regional Account Managers.

• Supports customized selling plans that resonate with retailers.

• Identifies sales opportunities and collaborate with Division resources.

• Implements the area go-to-market approach for the region.

• Cascade Sales strategies and key initiatives down to the Account and Sales Representative level.

• Be accountable for delivering assigned Sales KPI’s and key initiatives across region customers and retail stores.

• Strategically analyze the regional landscape and develop win/win solutions.

• Seeks support for improving Region performance and take responsibility for results.

Retail Communication & Insights:

• Helps team gain and maintain acceptance of using the “ITG Portal” for reimbursement and tracking.

• Facilitates sharing of best practices across the Region and internally.

• Solicits and reports customer and competitive insights to identify critical sales opportunities.

• Collaborates with area and region resources to develop best practice approaches.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED

• 5+ years related sales experience to include, but not limited to:

• Experience with driving and developing business such as a regional sales manager, strategic account manager or sales manager or other sales related titles

• Experience managing and leading channel partners and/or independent sales reps

• Experience with driving sales performance in a team environment

• Experience in business-to-business account selling

• 3+ years direct supervision/managerial experience

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must possess a valid driver’s license issued from state of residence

Knowledge of:

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams

Skilled in:

• Verbal and written communication

• Attention to detail

• Problem/situation analysis

• Effective time and task management

• Multitasking capabilities

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Delivering on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while driving best practices across sales plans, optimal coverage, and quarterly and monthly measurements and reporting

• Receive and communicate information orally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study

Work Environment and Physical Demand

• Employee must live within the assignment or 45 miles from the boundary of the assignment or be willing to relocate

• Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (10-50 lbs.)

• Able to bend, crouch, stretch, climb, or reach in retail environments.

• Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods

• Travel required based on assignment needs.

• Occasional exposure to noise, dust, or weather.

• Operates in a retail and wholesale environment.

• Requires prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.
