The Oracle Health Developer Ecosystem team is tackling some of today’s biggest challenges in the global healthcare industry. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our Oracle Health Developer Ecosystem team.  The ideal candidate will be technically strong, experienced in building service & API platforms, and be able to apply their technical and industry experience to the interoperability challenges of healthcare.   

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the roadmap and prioritizing features for Oracle Health's Open Platform to deliver high quality public services and certified FHIR APIs. You will be key in understanding regulatory requirements and impacts to Open Platform assets and external dependencies. Your goal will be to increase adoption and utilization of FHIR and Oracle Health APIs by third-party developers and to provide tooling and services to accelerate third-party development. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background with direct or healthcare adjacent industry knowledge, and works well implementing requirements across many internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Ability to analyze multiple data points to make data driven priority decisions

  • Excellent communication skills and can simplify complex topics for multiple audiences

  • Experience writing functional and technical requirements

  • Demonstrated agility in prioritization to achieve business goals

  • Ability to maintain and deconflict priorities across multiple teams

  • Knowledge of API frameworks and service delivery

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing healthcare interoperability technologies

  • Participation in HL7 FHIR standards bodies

Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
