Job Summary

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Operations Facilities Support Services individual for the Operations/Facilities department in our Meridian, Idaho office. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the Meridian facility with respect to required repairs, maintenance, improvements, and day-to-day needs as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Daily property walks to ensure adequate housekeeping, office safety, and building security. Ability to recognize and reconcile issues as they arise

  • Ability to perform all assignments in a safe and environmentally responsible manner

  • Perform a variety of basic routine maintenance duties as directed by supervisor

  • Work or repairs requiring outside vendors or contractors, obtain quotes, work authorization, schedule work, supervise and sign off that work performed meets with scope and expectations

  • Assemble, reconfigure, and manage office furniture in support of the ever-changing needs of the office

  • Maintain stock/inventory control of office supplies, furniture, coffee supplies, etc

  • Help organize and participate in Meridian office events.

  • Provide backup support for mailroom & print room functions

Required Education/Experience

  • Experience within the Facilities Support Service industry

  • Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and the ability to pick up and learn new software quickly

  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal with coworkers, peers, contractors, and vendors

  • Experience with office equipment, furniture, and building fixtures

  • Ability to prioritize, schedule, keep track of, and complete multiple tasks

  • Detail-oriented and able to document and keep accurate records

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision

  • Must have the mobility to stand, sit, walk, stoop, twist, bend, crawl, climb ladders, reach overhead, and be able to carry up to 50lbs

  • Able to provide a clean driver's report; This position will include driving company vehicles
