Intel Logistics Operations Manager in Boise, Idaho

Job Description

The Logistics Operations Manager (LOM) manages one or more categories within Logistics functions. The LOM has a core responsibility for drive Operational Excellence and manage supplier for the storage or movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound material, equipment, and finished goods through the Suppliers measured by Performance Metrics in line with the contracted service offered. The LOM will be required to collaborate with many partners, stakeholders, customers and contribute as a Subject Matter Expert to continuous improvement and develop logistics solutions, and to help enable the Suppliers to evolve and maintain their service offering in line with Intel requirements. Utilizes analytical and advanced emerging skills (which may include automation, Artificial Intelligence) to help solve and drive Intel's business execution and solutions.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical discipline (Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing).

6+ years of experience in one or more of the following Disciplines:

  • Warehouse and Transportation Management.

  • Supply chain management.

  • Supporting or directly working with Factory stakeholders.

  • Supplier Management

  • Supplier performance improvements.

  • Analytical skills to gather cost/financial data and synthesize for report out to stakeholders

  • Lean/Six Sigma

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business or Technical discipline (Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing).

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
