The Role

Integral member of the Operations transformation team responsible for leading efforts relative to digital tool development for Field Operations, Service Assurance, Consumer Markets and other lines of business. Lead system implementation and system enhancement projects across the digital collaboration suite of applications. This includes critical and high visibility programs that are typically top initiatives and have large budget impacts.

Location and Schedule

This is a Work From Home position in the United States.

The Main Responsibilities

This role will be the Engineering Finance expert on the Engineering and Construction(MEC) process team and will be responsible for documenting and championing processes in the NI space.

  • Represent the MEC and Maintenance spaces by having expert level knowledge of engineering funding processes and procedures including but not limited to IFR/AFR, POM, BART, TECO, Contractor Payments, etc.

  • Experience in the use of all appropriate engineering systems and applications including but not limited to Fireworks, BidMaster, Sitetracker, SAP, S4HANA developments, Connected Journey financial developments , etc.

  • Expert level knowledge of end to end funding process as it relates to engineering and a clear understanding of how planning interacts with engineering around all financial procedures including but not limited to capital vs. expense policy.

  • Presenting to and/or training large and diverse groups of employees on processes or information that comes from the funding space.

  • Excellent project management skills, executive level presentation experience, cross functional team experience, document writing experience, and a fundamental understanding of Lumen’s SDLC processes.

  • Act as the owner of their space and be comfortable of making decision with minimal supervision.

  • Familiarity with planning fiancé processes and applications such as Brain helpful.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Work experience that demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, and schedule multiple projects to accommodate rapidly changing priorities.

  • Strong proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, Microsoft Suite, in particular PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Ability to create reporting mechanisms and processes that help leaders quickly identify and address business challenges

  • Reporting analytics experience, with ability to compile, review, and present trends and potential solutions to leadership team.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Written skills to include demonstrated ability to create and modify process documents, work instruction documents and other documents that are distributed to a wide audience.

  • Ability to solve complex analytical challenges, independently analyze information and make recommendations based on analysis.

  • Proven collaborative skills in reaching a team approach to accomplishing work

  • Proven ability to work in a customer service-oriented organization.

  • Excellent negotiating and persuasive skills

  • Ability to motivate others, use good teamwork skills, including development of interdepartmental relationships and the ability to make complex decisions.

  • Demonstrates high personal work standards

  • Embraces change, inspires trust, communicates in all directions and is a continuous learner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Systems Business analysis experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years related experience

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY

$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
