Micron Technology, Inc. Intern - DRAM Cloud Engineer in Boise, Idaho

As a Cloud Engineering Intern in the DRAM Engineering group at Micron Technology Inc. you will be working with compute platforms in a datacenter environment, seeking out different failure mechanisms, predictability of those mechanisms and their effect on the overall system environment. You will also be supporting system-level DRAM validation, system characterization and failure analysis as it pertains to the Cloud space and analysis of different DRAM architectures to improve correctability. Your day to day functions may also include: running and configuring diagnostic software, system debug, designing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, crafting custom tools and communicating data to customers both inside.

Successful candidates will have, but not limited to:

  • An interest in datacenter hardware, operations, and / or automation

  • The ability to work in a diverse and collaborative team environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts to peers and customers

  • Ambition and passion

  • Highly effective, tight-knit collaboration and teamwork skills – ideal standout teammate

  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with complex demands

  • Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages and experience in Linux operating systems is a plus

Education:

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

  • Open to all degree levels but preference for bachelor's

  • Candidates must not graduate before September 2025
