Responsible for supporting Micron’s business strategies with process, data and planning systems. Understand generally accepted supply chain operating principles and the necessary data and modeling capabilities to support these principles. Coordinate, plan, monitor, document, test, and schedule standardized release procedures in a manner consistent with department standards. Help align the capabilities of the company’s software and design business processes and requirements based on business needs. Support Process Design, Analysis, and Alignment. Create As-Is and To-Be process for the Supply Chain areas of focus. Complete gap analysis on current process. Review potential solutions through industry and internal benchmarks. Define human elements within the design (e.g., screen design for efficiencies, geographic location of human resources). Collaborate with business partners to document their respective processes. Define system requirements and coordinate with Information Technology subject matter experts as needed Conduct Analytics. Determine best practice for Supply Chain area of focus. Clarify business partner requests. Provide as-is process metrics baseline and to-be metrics and targets. Research internal or external information and data. Present data results, conclusions, and recommendations to process stakeholders and leadership Design and Improve Systems. Define system requirements (output capabilities) with partners. Develop system process and logic. Manage interactions and impact to current systems. Create functional design documentation and data requirements and provide to developers as required. Define testing and training scenarios. Participate in process and system change. Discuss and communicate potential impacts (including business values and risks). Evaluate current process for alignment opportunities. Identify projects in response to business needs and opportunities. Identify and recruit members for cross functional project teams. Develop project definition, scope, timelines, and expected deliverables. Monitor or report on project status to partners and stakeholders. Evaluate testing results and work with Information Systems to make adjustments to systems as needed. Support implementation, including training. Maintain expertise on current processes and systems. Act as a Supply Chain consultant or liaison to partners and customers. Conduct internal and external research to identify benchmarks.

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management or related field.
