HVAC Technician

$30.00-$36.00/hour | Full-time | Boise, ID

We are looking for an experienced HVAC technician to join our team in servicing several commercial properties in the Boise area. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded experience in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, patching, and other general maintenance tasks. The position will require you to commute between various clients in the Treasure Valley, primarily in downtown Boise, with occasional trips to Nampa. A company vehicle will be provided for these commutes.

The role includes an on-call schedule that rotates every 5 to 6 weeks, where you will be responsible for handling after-hours or weekend emergencies. While on-call technicians are rarely contacted, they must handle any calls that come in.

Job Description

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various commercial settings

• Perform diagnostic tests to identify HVAC system malfunctions and determine appropriate repair solutions

• Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues, provide maintenance recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring systems are compliant with local, state, and federal standards

• Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each job.

Compensation & Benefits

• $30.00-$35.00/hour

Shifts

• 7:00am-4:00pm | Monday-Friday

• On call one week out of every six weeks

Qualifications

• Experience HVAC troubleshooting

• Facilities maintenance experience

• Strong experience in electrical (changing lights, minor wiring, etc.)

• Experience in plumbing

• Ability to paint and patch when needed

• Clean driving record

• Ability to be on call one out of every six weeks
