Shift:  Monday – Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM

Pay rate: $23+ / hr., DOE

Location:  Boise, ID

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Work on a team to service, maintain, troubleshoot, modify and repair facility’s mechanical systems and components

  • Safety & Quality: Follow all safety and quality-related issues immediately and work with stakeholders on resolution. Use and review job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed, following all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with regulations including PPE, CoHE (Lockout/Tagout), and chemical safety. Drives quality improvement initiatives to reduce Fab impacts and improve efficiency while identifying cost savings

  • Communication & Collaboration: Partner with area leaders and stakeholders on preventative maintenance and non-routine issues, communicating proactively on defects, tool restriction, or lost moves, resolving equipment and process issues to maximize stability.  Proactively communicates issues that could cause Fab impact, defects, tool restriction, or lost moves

  • Project Management & Planning: Support and manage area project action items. Track actions and provide escalation path, while following business processes for maintaining, installing, modifying or removing equipment

  • Technical Data Analysis: Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues. Complete all assigned PMs and work orders, assist with installs, modifications and removal of equipment. Monitor, analyze and address issues for area processes. Drive a culture of TPM, including TPM metrics, CIP items, MTAGs, and procedures

Requirements:

 

  • Intermediate PC skills, including proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • 3-5 years of industry experience in HVAC, electrical or mechanical field, in environments such as: manufacturing, industrial, hospital and food processing plants

  • Mechanical and/or electrical experience repairing and rebuilding pumps, motors, working with boilers, or changing commercial air unit filters

  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Flexible with assignments and responsibilities, able to multi-task and prioritize

  • Able to handle basic arithmetic calculations

Preferred:

  • Semiconductor industry is preferred

Physical Effort/Activities:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

  • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or maneuver in areas of confined width and height space working in or around cramped mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards workspaces.

  • Must have strong manual dexterity as he/she is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance you may be required to work at elevated heights (i.e., on ladders, stools, or other assistive devices)

  • Will regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus with strong hand-to-eye coordination.

  • Ability to work in constrictive attire, wearing appropriate personal protective safety equipment as required, and sit or stand for prolonged periods.

  • Capacity to work rapidly for long periods when needed, including routinely bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and standing in one location.
